| A Night to Remember
The word ‘hero’ is often used days due to our brave soldiers fighting the war in Iraq. We acknowledge these selfless and dedicated individuals and extend honor to them as American Heroes for taking on this battle.
Unfortunately, there is another “warfare” at hand, right here in the United States. There are people fighting for normalcy and fighting for their health. They are fighting an unseen enemy called cancer.
Webster Dictionary defines a hero as a man of distinguished valor in danger or “fortitude in suffering”. A Night to Remember is a special night to honor the heroes who are battling cancer. Our desire is to acknowledge their strength and endurance in facing adversity with courage. These men and women of valor could have “thrown in the towel” or hoisted a “white flag” to surrender; instead, these remarkable people remain resolved, resilient and determined as heroes do.
Please join us in “standing” with our very special guests. As we give reverence to them and celebrate their eventual victory.
This year, A Night to Remember’s theme is “An Evening for the Stars”! It will prove to be a time for each of our guests to shine brightly! We do intend to roll out the Red Carpet where they can make their grand entrance as Stars should!
A Night to Remember will have inspirational and informative speakers, a peaceful Serenity Sanctuary, wonderful entertainment, and beautiful supportive gift baskets for each ‘Star’!
We need your help to join ranks, gather together as a community with a united front and encourage our neighbor, our friend, our loved one. There is strength in unity. Collectively, we can show our love and support to those facing a very serious health crisis.
Your support in attendance is requested. Tickets are available for this very important night. With your help, we are certain that September 29, 2007, will be a night filled with STARS that shine ever so brightly!
This event is free to those diagnosed with cancer, however, registration is required.
