The Passion of Baskets by Immanuel
A MISSION OF SUPPORT, HOPE & COMFORT

Over 2000 years ago, a man named Paul escaped death from the hands of people who disliked Paul’s message of the Gospel.  Paul literally escaped by means of a “Basket”.  He was let down over a wall inside of a basket.      2Corinthians 11:32-33, Acts 9:23-25

          These scriptures bring to mind the very mission and heart of Baskets by Immanuel.  The mission?   To provide a ‘means of escape’ for individuals who are living with a serious, chronic illness such as cancer.

        The Baskets that are by Immanuel create an atmosphere of tranquility in order to produce peace and encourage moments to reflect.  The Baskets are designed to take someone to a comforting place in spirit and mind where one’s soul is at rest.  

        The possibilities of places are endless!!!

       Imagine being in a restful place in the midst of a Bayou, listening to the native birds and other types of wildlife or perhaps, walking through a lovely garden in harmony with beautiful flowers, wind chimes, butterflies and a soft, gentle breeze.  Maybe a cup of delicious tea served in a gold/floral teacup with saucer, pretty napkins, and cuddly teddy bears with an inspirational book is what’s required to usher one into a quiet, nostalgic place.

       Whatever the case may be…….the place of “Escape” will be a place where God can commune with one.

       If Paul escaped persecution and death through a Basket……..why can’t others?  What God did for Paul in that particular incident with a Basket, He is still doing today for others through……………….
