What is a Night to Remember?

A Night to Remember is an annual formal event to pay homage to the tenacity, strength and courage of persons diagnosed with cancer.  Now, in its fifth year, A Night to Remember is a special community gala in which individuals living with cancer and their caregiver are treated to an uplifting and encouraging night of entertainment, dinner, music, information and pampering. 

Who is the host?

A Night to Remember is an annual program of Baskets by Immanuel, a 501(c)3 organization with the primary mission to focus on the emotional and spiritual aspects of persons diagnosed with cancer by providing motivational and inspirational support care services.

Who can attend A Night to Remember?

A Night to Remember is a community event, and it is open to the public.  Every year, an estimated audience of 300 cancer patients, their caregivers, individuals and corporate representatives attend A Night to Remember as a show of support and encouragement to those persons who are struggling daily with the effects of cancer.

How are the guests and their caregivers selected?

Baskets by Immanuel sends requests for names of cancer patients to area hospitals, private practices, oncology centers, individuals and the general community. Once names have been received, special invitations from Baskets by Immanuel are sent to those individuals. Generally, 75 individuals who have been living with cancer as well as their primary caregivers attend the annual affair.

Is there a cost to attend?

There is no cost for individuals who are diagnosed with cancer and their primary caregivers to attend A Night to Remember.  The event is open to the community, and there is a general admission for the general public.  Corporate and family tables are also available.
